WITH LAND AT A PREMIUM WE AIM TO DRAW ATTENTION TO ALL THE WASTED GROWING SPACE ON PEOPLES' HEADS...
The vision is supported by a ridiculously talented team of friends and artists with a mutual passion for plants, hats, food and fun...
Initially conceived by Zoë Cameron for the Thames Festival's 'Feast on the Bridge' as a moveable garden the public rose to the challenge. Under the banner of "Green your Head and Feed your Neighbour!" the salad hats provided welcome garnish to hungry diners.
The vision of plants swaying through the crowds was strong, Damaris Booth was even stronger, and ably assisted by a talented team of friends and artists the only way is up! There's something about growing salad on your head that gets people talking...
Zoë, Damaris, Sara and Alex are all part of the crew, and between our group skills in cooking, art, education, gardening and design we think we make a pretty good hands-on team.
....and best of all it's fun.
